About this tour
The Salkantay Trek is considered one of the 25 best treks in the world by National Geographic. This 5-day route takes you through incredibly diverse landscapes: from glaciers and high-altitude lakes to tropical jungle. The highest point of the trek is Salkantay Pass at 4,650m, with impressive views of Mount Salkantay (6,271m), the second most important apu after Ausangate. You'll sleep in comfortable lodges or camps, enjoy delicious food prepared by our chef, and walk along pre-Inca trails until reaching Machu Picchu. It's the most complete trekking experience in the region.
