About this tour

This tour takes you to the heart of the Ausangate massif, Peru's fifth highest mountain and Cusco's most sacred Apu. You'll walk through otherworldly landscapes passing seven glacial lakes of different colors: turquoise, emerald green, cobalt blue, and reddish tones created by soil minerals. You'll see vicuñas, alpacas, and condors in their natural habitat. The tour culminates with a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs of Pacchanta, the perfect complement after the hike. It's a less crowded alternative to Rainbow Mountain with equally impressive landscapes.
